The Story
The Beginning
Fairfield County, CT
Justin grew up caddying at some of Connecticut’s most prestigious private clubs. He wasn’t a member — he was carrying the bags. He watched how the members moved, how they spoke, how they treated staff and guests. He absorbed it all without knowing he was being educated.
The Turning Point
First Member-Guest
When Justin was first invited to a member-guest tournament, he was intimidated. He didn’t know the culture, who to tip, how to present himself, or what was expected. It was the first time he was on the other side of the rope — and he felt every bit of it.
The Education
A Mentor’s Example
A mentor taught by default — not with a lecture, but by leading through example. He showed Justin how to properly host & entertain, how to read the room and what true hospitality was — it just so happened to be in a country club setting at the time.
